I am an Australian registered Homoeopath, Naturopath, Nutritionist and with 20 years of clinical experience. I started looking at alternative weight loss programs because I had a number of clients who were overweight and had tried numerous diets over many years. This had compromised their metabolism without giving them lasting results. I had them on weight loss regimes and exercise programs but their weight was hard to budge.
Having been overweight myself for a few periods in my life, I knew the pain and impact it can have on your life. So I looked around for alternatives.
After clinically assessing the hCG weight loss method (originally designed by an Endocrinologist, Dr A.T.W. Simeon), I started using it to give my clients faster results and the motivation for a healthier lifestyle, as described in my Dynamic hCG Program. Prior to studying natural medicine, I worked as a vegetarian cook in London. Combining my nutritional knowledge with my passion for healthy cooking, I created the Asian-inspired hCG Recipe Book which is a valuable addition to my program.
My passion for homoeopathy lead me to India where I attended an Advanced Clinical Homoeopathy Course, and later to complete a 2 year UK Post-Graduate in Homoeopathy. I also trained in Functional Medicine, as well as completing a Clinical Hypnotherapy Diploma.
I have spent the past 26 years studying and working in a variety of clinics and health organisations in Thailand, Maldives, India, England and Australia. These have ranged from an integrative wellness and medical institute in Bangkok, to homoeopathic slum clinics in Calcutta. I also ran my own successful practice in Melbourne for 10 years.
Throughout my 20 years of clinical practice, I have successfully treated hundreds of health conditions including: hormonal problems, weight loss, chronic fatigue, stress, allergies, insomnia and digestive complaints.
The History of the hCG Protocol
The hCG protocol was originally designed by an Endocrinologist, Dr A.T.W. Simeon in the 1950’s-1970’s. He spent over 20 years investigating and clinically developing his hCG program and used it on thousands of patients at the Salvator Mundi International Hospital. Dr Simeon contributed to many scientific publications and wrote several medical books including “Pounds and Inches” which outline his findings.
Dr Simeon discovered that hCG, a natural hormone which is produced in small amounts by everyone, but is produced in large amounts in pregnancy, was an important component in weight loss. In addition, it was discovered that hCG has the ability to balance the hypothalamus gland and reset the metabolic rate, so once the dietary restriction phase is complete, the resting metabolic rate is increased. This is the opposite outcome to other low calorie diets which actually put the body into starvation mode; cause a decrease in muscle mass, lowers metabolism and increases hunger.
